Personal
I was born and
raised in Islamabad,
the capital of Pakistan.
It’s a beautiful city, and I have many fond memories of the place. You
can check
out the
links at the bottom of the page for more information about my country.
I came to the
U.S in
2001 for graduate studies.
It has been a
great learning experience for me. I have met some really nice people,
made many
new friends, and visited some fun places; a few pictures from
trips to Hawaii,
Los
Angeles, Chicago,
England,
and Bahamas.
My
family lives in Islamabad,
and I frequently visit the place. There is always something happening
back home; birthdays, anniversaries, parties etc., here are some pictures from my
recent visits. My parents are both physicists. My
father did his Ph.D. in 1966 from Oxford. He was
recently awarded Nishan-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan’s
highest civil award, for his achievements in nuclear physics. My mother
was a professor of physics for 35 years before we
convinced her to spend more time with us; a few pictures from
her retirement day.
